My bike, the police and children

Monday mornings are always good. With Fischerspooners Horizon in my ears on my bike in the sun. I passed on a red light and almost didn´t have time to stop for a car coming from the right. When someone tapped my shoulder. The police. Riding a bike.

After having lectured me for five minutes of how much I should have paid for this and how dangerous it is to be on a bike, (in my opinion this is mostly because the rules and roads are confusing) all of a sudden he asks: do you have children? When I answer no, he looks a little confused and says: Eh....well, you still have to be a good example for the children. Even if they are not yours.

Thanxs. From now on I hope he can put some of his resources into finding the ten bikes that was stolen from me ine the last couple of years.

I do probably need to watch my speed. I didn´t need that "you-don´t-have-children-looking-very-surpriesed-question." At least I didn´have to pay a 3000 NOK. This time.
